Located in the Green Street Historic District, this Greek Revival cottage has small ornate columns with saw-work details on the porches. The house has a double-door front entrance that’s surrounded by a full width transom and sidelights. Around 1870, a wing was added on the back of the house.
This home is a contributing property to Marion’s “Green Street Historic District” that’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). It is located at 308 Green Street in Marion (GPS coordinates 32.633126,-87.32339).
