Hogue-Underwood-Wallace Cottage at Marion, AL (ca. 1847)

Antebellum, Historic Home | Marion in Perry County

Located in the Green Street Historic District, this Greek Revival cottage has small ornate columns with saw-work details on the porches. The house has a double-door front entrance that’s surrounded by a full width transom and sidelights. Around 1870, a wing was added on the back of the house.

This home is a contributing property to Marion’s “Green Street Historic District” that’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). It is located at 308 Green Street in Marion (32°37’59.3″N 87°19’24.2″W – Google Maps).

This is a private residence – drive by only.
