This is a 2-story, Neo-Classical/Craftsman style building that was built in 1921. It is a contributing property to the Thomaston Central Historic District that was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 14, 2000. The Thomaston Central Historic District contains 74 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site and 1 contributing structure.

The Thomaston Baptist Church is located at the intersection of 4th Avenue and Main Street near downtown Thomaston (GPS coordinates 32.268519,-87.624426).
