| Eutaw in Greene County

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

This two-storied Queen Anne style home was built in 1896.  It was originally painted in autumnal colors.  Tall chimneys penetrate the complex roof of this asymmetrical house.  It features a piazza with a bay over the front steps, a balcony above an elaborate bargeboard gable, and an unusual eyebrow dormer.  Ceilings are 14 feet throughout the house.  Huge sliding doors separate the parlor from the dining room.  A smokehouse and a tiny-windowed winter flower pit are located on the lot with this house.

This house is located at 409 Main Street in Eutaw, AL (GPS coordinates 32.842135, -87.893269).

This is a private residence – drive by only.
