Malloy-Jones House at Eutaw, AL (built 1906)

This house was built in 1906 for Dr. Martin Luther Malloy and his wife Laura Malloy.  It is a George F. Barber home.  The house is a free-classic Queen Anne with many elements foreshadowing the Colonial Revival style. It is based upon Rosemont, George Barber’s own family home in Knoxville, TN. The inside features elaborate woodwork that has never been altered or painted.  This home is listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage – identified as the Dr. M. L. Malloy House

This house is located at the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Boligee Street near downtown Eutaw, AL (GPS coordinates N32.840087,W87.890030).
