Town Park at Pine Apple, AL

Parks & Campgrounds | Pine Apple in Wilcox County

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Located behind the Town Hall at downtown Pine Apple is a charming little park. It has a gazebo, benches, picnic tables, a large family pavilion and a restored log cabin. The log cabin was constructed in the early 1860s by Thomas Henry Roberts. The Roberts family donated the cabin to Pine Apple in May 2007. Members of the community then relocated the cabin to the Town Park. Hanging on the cabin’s porch is a plaque that contains additional history of the cabin and details about the work involved with moving and restoring the cabin.
