Roland Cooper State Park near Camden, AL

Located approximately 6 miles northeast of Camden on the 22,000-acre Dannelly Reservoir Lake (locally referred to as Millers Ferry Lake), Roland Cooper State Park’s 236-acre park features vacation cottages, modern campground with bathhouse and laundry, and a scenic picnic areas with tables, grills and pavilions. With fishing so popular on the lake, the park also provides boat launching facilities.  The park is a featured birding site on the Alabama Birding Trails.
