Mural of Mob Scene in “To Kill A Mockingbird” at Monroeville, AL

This mural was painted by Baldwin County artist, William Harrison.  It depicts the fictional scene in Monroeville native Harper Lee’s classic, “To Kill A Mockingbird.”  In the scene, Atticus Finch is pictured with daughter Scout, son Jem, friend Dill, and Mr. Cunningham and members of the mob, in a Maycomb street scene.

This mural is on the side of the building located on the southeast corner of the intersection of W. Claiborne Street and S. Mt. Pleasant Avenue at downtown Monroeville, AL (GPS coordinates N31.526397,W87.324918)
