Former Gas Station on Old Hwy 5 at Thomasville, AL (built ca. 1920, listed on the NRHP)

This building was built around 1920 as a gas station. Since its construction, it has served several purposes including being used as a laundromat. This building is a contributing property to the Thomasville Historic District that was added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on February 12, 1999. It is located on old Highway 5 in Thomasville at the intersection of Old Highway 5 and Claiborn Avenue (GPS coordinates 31.909941, -87.731517).
