The Underwood Plantation Home, also known as “Black Thistle”, is a Greek Revival-style home that was built circa 1837 by the Greene Underwood Family. It was added to the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on November 2, 1990. This house is located in the community of Pleasant Hill in east Dallas County at the intersection of CR 432 and CR12 (GPS coordinates 32.16671,-86.92284).
