Mill-Albritton House at Orrville, AL (ca. 1860)

Antebellum, Historic Home | Orrville in Dallas County

This two-story home was built circa 1860. It has a gable roof that extends over the full-height hexastyle portico with freestanding octagonal columns on brick piers that shelter a balustrade deck-type porch and small balcony over the main doorway. This house was recorded in the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) – a program established by the NPS in 1933 to document historic places in the United States.

The Mill-Albritton House is located on the south side of Highway 22 approximately 250 yards west fo the Orville, Alabama Post Office (Google Maps).

This is a private residence – drive by only.
